JazzItUp is a four piece group featuring;

        Dave McMahan on Hammond B3 organ, piano and vocals

        Howard Page on sax & flute

        John Brecht on bass guitar and vocals

        Dave McKinney on drums and percussion

JazzItUp can be seen playing in clubs around the greater Cincinnati area and focuses on a mixture of straight ahead jazz tunes as well as funky jammin' blues. But we have been known to throw in some classic rock, R&B, etc. just for fun.

JazzItUp is also available for private functions such as office and holiday parties, wedding receptions, etc. and will play selections that are appropriate to your event.

Additional instrumentation such as guitar, brass section or female vocalist can be added if desired.

JazzItUp is proud to be associated with Gary Burbank's Play It Forward, a non-profit organization formed by Gary Burbank and a lot of other folks who care about music and the people who play it. Play It Forward’s mission statement is as follows:

"The dedication of musicians to their craft and to the enjoyment of so many sometimes comes at the expense of their financial security and well being, occasionally leaving them in very dire straits. We seek to educate the public about those cases and to create and manage an investment fund whose annual profits will be used to assist Greater Cincinnati musicians and their families in times of catastrophic need."
