Dave McMahan - Hammond B3 Organ, Piano & Vocals : Dave attended Miami University as a piano performance major and was the first freshman to be accepted in the MU Jazz Ensemble and has worked for several popular keyboard manufactures in the capacity of product support manager, new product design and handling sales territories. Dave is well known in the musical community as someone who is very knowledgeable on keyboards and computer related music. He created the company www.learnmykeyboard.com specializing in training individuals, schools and churches on how to operate pro-level digital keyboard instruments, home digital pianos, etc.
Dave served as musical director for a live children's television show called The Uncle Al Show which aired in Cincinnati until 1985 and worked with Cincinnati Broadcast Hall of Fame inductee Bob Shreve for 6 years as the keyboardist/accompanist for a weekly show held at the Cincinnati Playboy Club called Tuesday Night Alive.
Dave has played around the Cincinnati area for 25+ years in various groups focused on many musical styles such as blues, classic rock, big band, R&B, reggae, etc. However jazz has always been at the top of his interest musically. Hints of Jimmy Smith, Oscar Peterson, Jimmy McGriff and more can be heard in his unique, energetic style. Besides being the leader and keyboardist for JazzItUp, Dave is also is the keyboardist for the popular Cincinnati favorite of many years, The Modulators.
